Vicarage Lane, Norton St Philip

Demolition of an existing dwelling and the construction of three large, five bedroom detached homes with associated access, parking and landscaping.

The homes were built using traditional masonry construction featuring locally mined stone with ashlar, rubble and some render elevations. Natural slate and pantile roofs, aluminium double glazed windows and timber soffits and fascia’s. Driveways were block paved and the development road was tarmacadam. Each home had a double or triple garage.

The project consisted of an 18 month duration and was delivered on time and within budget.

  • Gas central heating supplying under floor heating throughout with individual programmable room thermostats and touch screen central control.
  • Energy efficient LED recessed down lights. Smoke detectors and heat detectors.
  • Fitted security system including keypad with panic alarm facility.
  • Advanced network/TV infrastructure.
  • Ceiling speakers and keypad with a single source hub and an Apple Airport Uplay stream.
  • The living rooms were pre-wired for in-ceiling 5.1 surround sound and wall mounted sub-woofer.
  • Luxury fitted kitchens with appliances including two single ovens, steam oven, microwave oven, five ring gas hob, integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler.
  • Oak six panelled internal doors with chrome furniture.
  • Oak staircases.
  • Sliding glass fronted wardrobes.

Ashford is definitely one of the best developers in the area. We’ve looked at lots of new builds and none of the others come anywhere near the quality and finish of Ashford. They go over an above on build specification and offer a really friendly aftercare service.
