Uplands Farm, Burnett Bath
The conversion of the existing structures at Uplands Farm to provide five new dwellings, including the provision of a new link structure and farmyard landscaping.
The barns were fully restored and finished to modern standards, with oak framed windows with aluminium framed glazed screens. Block paving to driveways.
The project duration was three years, and was delivered on time and within budget.
Internal
- Gas fired central heating system comprising condensing boiler supplying under floor heating throughout with individual programmable room thermostats, and touch screen central control. Unvented hot water cylinder.
- Comprehensive electrical installation including energy efficient LED lighting throughout.
- Smoke detection fitted to each room, heat and carbon monoxide detection fitted where appropriate.
- Fitted SSAIB approved security system.
- Decoration – emulsion to walls with white ceilings and white satin finish woodwork.
- Wardrobes – sliding glass fronted doors with shelf and hanging rail.
- An advanced network/TV infrastructure was installed supporting the distribution of television, data and telephone to multiple locations.
- HD distribution over CAT6 to any TV or network outlet position from HD enabled equipment.
- Ceiling speakers and keypad with a single source hub and an Apple Airport Uplay stream.
- Luxury fitted kitchens with Neff appliances comprising; five ring hob with extractor cover, built in double oven, built in microwave, separate integrated fridge and freezer and dishwasher.
I would like to express how impressed I am with the quality and standard of our home. I feel I am able to make this comment due to my experience as a building Clerk of Works/surveyor.
The standard of design, quality of fittings and workmanship is very high. Yes, there was a couple of very minor issues but the after sales service is very friendly and responsive.
